First there was nothing, then there was a vibration, the first sound, the so called "Ohm" - the Urklang.

I’m Fabian, a passionate music producer and coach rooted in the vibrant realms of psytrance and psychedelic music. Born in 1982, music has been my constant companion, shaping my life and creative journey from an early age.
​
I picked up the guitar at just five years old, and my musical exploration didn't stop there. I later delved into the enchanting sounds of the clarinet and saxophone (and later many more instruments), all while immersing myself in various artistic expressions, including acting and theatre. This diverse background has greatly influenced my approach to music, allowing me to blend different styles and emotions into my compositions.

At the age of 16, I took my first steps as a DJ, sharing my love for music with others and igniting a passion for electronic soundscapes. By 19, I ventured into music production, discovering the powerful possibilities of creating my own tracks. My journey began with Reason, which served as my first digital audio workstation (DAW) for nearly 15 years. Eventually, I made the exciting switch to Ableton, embracing its innovative features to further enhance my production skills.

Over the years, I've collaborated with various bands and musical formations, each experience expanding my artistic horizons and deepening my love for music. My main project, Urklang, reflects my dedication to crafting immersive and psychedelic sound journeys that resonate with the listener’s soul.

Initially, there was a vibration, a sound, a resonance that influenced and shaped everything—the primordial vibration known as "Ohm," the original sound,
the UR-KLANG.
My sound philosophy merges ancient tribal emotions, deeply rooted within us all, with the advancements of modern technology. I blend daytime energy with the twisted vibes of nighttime, creating driving basslines alongside organic instruments, interspersed with glitchy moments and psychedelic soundscapes.
